BIOPROTECT™ carries an FDA master file (MAF) allowance through the CDRH, allowing our technology to be manufactured on both metal and plastic medical devices, Class I, II, IIIb (instruments and certain types of implants). BIOPROTECTED™ medical devices help prevent the formation of biofilms on the surface of the medical device thus reducing the risks associated with illnesses related to implantable medical devices.
